The new year has already provided me with some challenges. There's been so much to do and a lot of influences and thoughts I have to sift through. That's part of the growth process, especially when you are serious about spirituality. After dealing with a bad head cold and allergy attacks, which are still... Continue Reading →

Contribution to the Weekly Smile: “Seasonal Changes and Fun” #weeklysmile #indoornomore #handmade
After a couple busy weeks of hard work, it was really nice to get out for a leisurely walk yesterday. We met a beautiful black cat with green eyes and took pictures of the trees as their leaves were nearly gone. I also managed to pick up some trash in our neighborhood and deposited... Announcing a New Series: “The Challenging Reality”
Over the years, I have accumulated quite a bit of knowledge on various topics related to health (mainly out of necessity, not curiosity). When my family and I went vegan, I also began learning about topics related not only to veganism but to environmental issues in general. Since I enjoy using my personal... Continue Reading →

I enjoyed singing in school and church but did not bother to learn anything that would improve my voice. For about six months... Continue Reading →
Personal Post: “Face Your Words”
As I work on myself more and more, I realize many of the things I've been guilty of that society has convinced us are normal but are actually detrimental to self-esteem, compassion, integrity, and growth. For instance, many people seem to think it's funny to ridicule others who make assumptions based on a lack... Continue Reading →
Contribution to “The Weekly Smile”: “Breaking the Shell” #weeklysmile
It's more important now than ever to build and maintain true community. I haven't been a very social person for most of my life and have begun making an effort to change that. Once I made that decision, a few old acquaintances began contacting me (interesting timing). One is a good friend in Texas,... Continue Reading →
