After a couple busy weeks of hard work, it was really nice to get out for a leisurely walk yesterday. We met a beautiful black cat with green eyes and took pictures of the trees as their leaves were nearly gone. I also managed to pick up some trash in our neighborhood and deposited it in the recycle.
We also received a shipment from my wonderful friend, Lily, who started an Etsy shop called Refraction 81. I highly recommend checking it out if you like handmade jewelry. She’s a young mother and school teacher who puts a lot of love into everything she does.
This week, I have a pretty full schedule, which would be great if it weren’t for the fact that we’re expecting some people to be working on repairing the plaster before the holiday. So far, they haven’t let us know when they plan to come out; but at least we’re finally getting some traction on putting things back to normal after the emergency repairs earlier this year. Nevertheless, I’m looking forward to making the most of every day.
