I am so thankful for:
- people who care for the animals
- those who care enough to say “How can I help?”
- those who want to learn real truth and inspire others to do the same
- the beauty of frost on the fallen leaves
- the poets throughout time who have inspired me

It’s a time of testing for me, which is one of the reasons why content on this blog has been delayed a little bit. I’m learning a lot and having to apply more of what I know. Although I’ve been very uncomfortable lately, I have been assured that if I keep on the path I’m on and follow instructions, I will see improvement.
The Heavens put everyone through a time of testing periodically. The question is: can we recognize when it’s happening? We like to think so, but can we really? The more you learn, the more intricate the world becomes. I’m so glad I have a mentor who helps me through it.
Unfortunately, my most recent job search did not go well – or did it? I did learn a few things, both about the world and myself. I’m not giving up, but I do need to work on balancing the various aspects of my life and myself. I have begun setting a few new goals and trying not to be quite so hard on myself when things change. I can’t control anything in the world except how I react to it. In light of the most recent Angelic Herald, I’m determined that there’s no going back for me now. Maybe at some point, I’ll discuss how I stay positive while keeping up to date. (I’m far from perfect, but that’s ok. I’m human.)
I hope others who may feel they’ve gone off track are encouraged to come back. Regardless of our background or perceived differences, we are a family. Family is one of the most important things in the world. Don’t let the new society re-define it. Fight for yourself and your children. If you don’t, probably no one else will. If you think you’re alone in feeling lost or overwhelmed, you’re not. There is hope. Following the instructions given in the Heralds, can keep you safe. Being on the look out for the changes that are coming, ensures that you won’t be deceived again. Alura has even advised people on how to keep food on the table while still being healthy.
I’ll be sharing some of her inspirational content from A Life Of Virtues Magazine in a few of my upcoming posts, and I might even add a few of my own stories and experiences. Look for that and a new blog update to appear here soon.

I give thanks today for:
- the chance to learn to balance my life better, making time to keep up with my spiritual health, as well.
- the guidance I’ve received over all these years that has led me to where I am and away from the person I used to be.
- the beautiful sunrise I experienced this morning.
- the fact that there is no limit to where or when I can pray and talk to the Heavens about what I think, feel, and wonder about.
- the challenge to take on more responsibility in my life and work hard to create what my higher self wants.

This post was inspired by the “Weekly Smile” prompt on Trent’s World (the blog) . Feel free to check out the rules and participate!
While this week has had it’s ups and downs, I’ve remained steadfastly determined to be as positive as possible. I know from the advice given by my mentor that as long as everyone follows the advice given, stays alert, does what they can to prepare, and opens their hearts to others that we’ll be able to make the world a little brighter – maybe not the whole world, but definitely someone else’s. When people come together like that, they can make a better world of their own; and the more who join in, the bigger that world gets.
One of the warnings Alura gave was not to fall into “survival mode” where the only person you protect and care for is yourself. Inspired by that advice, my mother and I decided to enter into a new collaboration. Over the past couple of months, we’ve been putting together a care package for a friend who lives out of state. She’s a single mother with a special needs child and is trying to go back to school so she care help other special needs children and their families. She’s an incredible woman, an inspiration to anyone who knows her.
Finally, we were able to ship the box off! It was one of the biggest thrills I’ve had in a long time. Personally, I prefer to give gifts rather than receive them. It’s so much more fun when you know what it is, but the other person doesn’t! While the supplies weren’t much, I know from experience that even a little help can make a huge difference.
When the package arrived, our friend recorded herself opening it. Hearing her laughing and crying with joy at the same time really warmed our hearts. Even her cat got in on the act and began playing with the packing material. He then tried to eat the soap bars we sent! Well, at least they’re vegan.
It’s incredible what happens when you decide to aid someone else and share what little you have between you. It gave us such a sense of true community, even though we’re miles apart and have never seen each other face-to-face in real life. In those moments, we might as well have been standing in the same room, rather than different parts of the country. It doesn’t matter how little you have. When you share it, you become the wealthiest person in the world.

Welcome back, and season’s greetings! At long last, I’m about to begin posting new topics and content to my personal blog. Here are a few of the updates:
Positive Writing Participation: I have come across a few other blogs here on WordPress that offer writing prompts with interesting and very positive themes, and I’ve decided to participate. Several upcoming posts here on Superlative Deviation will be based on those themes and contain links back to the original blogger who inspired me.
Novel Reformat: Currently, I’m in the process of updating the format of my first book. Afterwards, I will be querying a couple new agents. I am using the A.A.R. as a resource to find reputable people in the industry. They include agents who represent nearly every type and genre imaginable. I and highly recommend that all new writers take advantage of this resource. It’s unbelievable how many con artists are out there. Stay smart!
I hope you all have a wonderful fall season.
